Timings for music track

Drums and guitar start at 00 seconds
piano/electric starts at 05 seconds
Vocals start at 10 seconds
pause in singing around 33 seconds
Chorus start at 36 seconds
Chorus ends at 1 minute and 6 seconds
Verse 2 starts at 1 minute and 10 seconds
Verse 2 ends at 1 minute and 35 seconds
Chorus starts at 1 minute and 38 seconds
Chorus ends at 2 minutes and 8/9 seconds
Verse 3/chorus starts at 2 minutes and 22 seconds
Verse 3chorus ends at 3 minutes and 8 seconds

This is a rough timing of when all the verses and choruses start and end.

The pace/tempo of the song is quite upbeat with a husky sort of voice and the overall atmosphere and emotion of the song is kind of sad.

  1. Well done Becky - your R&P is looking very strong so far - it's detailed, uses terminology well and links in key theories that we have covered.

T - I think you need to spend a little more time analysing the lyrics to show more ideas about meanings and how you could develop the lyrics into your ideas for your video.

Now focus on looking at the genre conventions for a promo from a bad of a similar genre to your chosen band - how do bands of this genre use / develop / subvert conventions? What are the typical elements present in terms of camerawork / editing / mise-en-scene / narrative / performance / intertextuality?
